Four Corners APS Wrap Up

The American Physical Society's 25th Anniversary annual Four Corners meeting was held Friday and Saturday, October 14 & 15, 2022 at UNM PAÍS.

According to UNM Physics and Astronomy Department Chair Richard Rand, the event was a "splendid success. By all reports it was an particularly well-run Four Corners meeting ... despite the large attendance of 272."

Several UNM faculty delivered presentations including plenary presentations by Keith Lidke, Diana Dragomir, and Andrew Landahl. Mousumi Roy, Francis-Yan Cyr-Racine, and Tara Drake also delivered invited talks on their research.

UNM P&A Award Winners

UNM Physics student Mallory Harris won the Harry Lustig Award for the best graduate student presentation.
UNM Faculty member Diana Dragomir won the Spherical Cow Award.
UNM Faculty member Tara Drake won the Senior Most Prolific Judge Award.
