Chair Changes

Chairs, past and present

Wolfgang Rudolph's term as Chair of the Department of Physics and Astronomy ended on Dec 31, 2018, and Rich Rand became Chair on January 1, 2019.

We thank Wolfgang for his excellent and dedicated service over six and a half years, during which the department has been very successful, not least in achieving our long-standing goal of a new building, PAÍS.

Rich hopes to build on these successes and to leverage PAÍS so the department can continue to push the limits of physics and astronomy.
