Grad Student Wins At European Cross Country Championships
December 17, 2013: UNM physics graduate student Luke Caldwell helped the British Team win gold at the European Cross Country Championships in Belgrade, Serbia on December 8, 2013. Luke was the top British runner, finishing fifth in the U23 race.
In addition to his graduate classes in physics at UNM, Luke is working in the Boyd Lab under the guidance of Stephen T. Boyd and Wolfgang Rudolph. Their research focuses on experimental optics and low-temperature physics. See the video outlining the results of Luke's successful initial project.
