Please join me in congratulating Professor Jean-Claude Diels: We were just informed that the Optical Society of America (OSA) has selected him as the 2006 recipient of the Engineering Excellence Award. OSA will present this award to him at Frontiers in Optics (FiO), OSA’s 90th Annual Meeting, in Rochester, New York. In addition, there will be an article in Optics & Photonics News and a press release.
